If you visit the Cleveland Metroparks Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation over the holidays, please stop by the Leonard Krieger CanalWay Center while you’re there. I have a series of large panel paintings on display through January 3, 2016. The entrance to the park is located at 4524 East 49th Street in Cuyahoga Heights.

For more information about the Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation visit their website. The center is open 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday and 12 PM to 5 PM on Sunday.

Located on 306 acres in Cleveland’s industrial heart, Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation offers unique opportunities for discovery. The CanalWay Center serves as a visitor stop on the busy Towpath Trail that runs from Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park all the way to New Philadelphia, Ohio.

The exhibition features five large monochrome panel paintings (48 inches x 48 inches) and three smaller monochrome panel paintings (32 inches x 32 inches). The two paintings on the feature wall of the gallery area are views of Blue Hen Falls in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Reference material for the other paintings came from walks and photo sessions in various locations in Northern Ohio.
